Leg warmers are hot and totally cool.

A while ago i found a product called baby legs...leggings for kids. That can be converted to arm or leg warmers as the child grows. They come in heaps of different colours. For Georgie i bought a brown spotty pair. Its also makes changing nappies easier as you dont have to even pull off the leggings as they sit at the top of the leg rather than over the nappy.

At the time i had a huge fascination with sock monkeys and so was quite obsessed in finding the perfect pair...(yes it exists)......and since socks obsessed most of my thoughts i found another use for them.
The model above (my Georgie) is sporting a pair of leggings based on the Baby leg designs. I also made a pair to match for the arms...with added button details of course. I made these with just one long pair of socks....to cute ...and oh so funky!!!

Especially with the added tutu...you could make a pair for your own child...just cut out the heal, hem the edges and add details. I must admit these don't stay up as well as the branded baby legs product but they are not bad and still make your child look the funkiest on the street. Would love to know if you have a crack at making some yourself!!
