Perminator - Stage 2

Sunday we(me) got the frog pond in. I am going to get some frog friendly plants to go in the pond and some lovely reeds to go around the edge. We also installed more paths. Completed the make over of the garden beds to more of a key hole design  and planted  corn, peas, pak choy, tomatoes and more herbs to go in the herb spiral. 

I am so pleased we are getting this done before the heat of the summer is setting in. All the mulching should reduce the need for watering, and since we are on tank water this is totally important. 

The asparagus is shooting and i have got some artichokes sprouting..so excited to deal with these new plants in the future.

We also have some new lovely hens from Wilsons Hatchery. With all the ducks eggs we are getting right now i am pretty sure i will have to start liking to eat eggs...and soon.
