*Sniff* Whats that brewing?

There is something exciting happening at my art centre. Actually there are a lot of exciting things brewing in the little building. 

Our Stitch n Bitch group has been meeting there on Tuesdays nights which has made the group grow and grow...seriously i am talking of moving into at least another room. It just proves that there are people out there screaming for groups such as these.

Artscape. comm is an Artist Run Initiative/Community Arts Space i created in our town. Currently i still sit on the board. Its been struggling a bit recently but i feel a breath of fresh airs a-comin'. With the Stitch n Bitch group being a major playing in the renewed vibe. Up coming we have a new exhibition in November, a possible visit from the Young Professionals Network, collaborations with the Wonders of Wynyard Building (and their brand new star Josie), and rumors of a new makers market before Christmas. 

Keep your hats on folks of rural NW Tasmania..you may have to take notice of the arts whether you like it or not.
