Chair Make Over (My Creative Space)

I hope you haven't got bored with all my projects this week...told you i had gone nuts on the weekend.
In another generous act that has come my way i was given a Tasmanian Table Cloth from Lisa, a fellow Stitch n Bitchy.
I had badly wanted to cover my poor mangled chair for ages. I had been hiding the destruction under rugs and pillows, The bottom pillow was the worst, the top one was actually not too bad. I got this chair for 4 bucks from the tip shop in Launceston. I got another similar one from a garage sale for 1 buck but gave him 2 (oh so generous!). they are seriously pretty comfy chairs. Grannies know all the good stuff!!

I'm not convinced with my top fabric choice. Its really only there till i find the "right one". I would dearly love an old calendar tea towel but finding one and in the right colours may take a while. The pillow on the top picture i also found at Vinnie's and it now makes its home on the chair.

Sometimes i forget we live in a very unique place. As much as we get bagged out about our two heads and such i really need to celebrate our little Tasmania and make the most out of our state. What a good way to be reminded of this every day...don't you think?

I think the top fabric goes well with the bottom fabric, good choice. Looks good.
It looks great, the fabric combo is awesome!

You know Michelle, I doubt there's a tip shop in Launceston my nan hasn't dragged me to. I used to hate it when I was a teenager, but I'd love her to take me shopping now!
