Rock MY Roll at MS Fest

I'm really liking this phrase....i feel a new branding coming on....ooooh ahhhhhh.

I embroidered this on a doily i thrifted...it was my first attempt at needle work but i have been inspired by fellow stitchies enough to give it a crack. I like it.....

So i need a new bag......

This is a thrifted bag i found with cool latches but low enough in quality that i wont care if i totally ruin it. I like satchels and this had heaps of pockets and a nice shape.

I put the doily on the front pocket with a thrifter pillow case as the back ground.

Oh yeah...i was making this bag in preparation on going to MS Fest this weekend. There are actually a few bands i would like to see and i get to go with my fab girlies from my hairdressing work. Also others who i have worked with before! Its going to be super fun (insert pillow fight here).

Seriously though i hope my next post after the weekend wont be from jail right after i have had a rotten day of bad toilets and teeny boppers. Makes me think twice about going (plus i think i may be waaaay too old for these types of festivals).

 

Even though a thirty one year old will insist on going to a teeny bopper fest i thought i may still look the coolest person there. I started making a dress for the day....well of course i need one to match the new bag. The dramas of that i will save for a future post...
