Rock MY Roll (M.C.S)

At long last i finally finished my quilt...and i am in love.  "Rock my Roll" baby is a quilt all for me....for me i say!! I know she is a bit crooked and i am not the best quilter in the world but i love her none the less.

I made it from vintage and new fabrics. The centre piece is from a vintage table cloth and i have embroidered and appliqued the words in the centre. I built up from the centre bit and just added as i went. I placed a diamond pattern around the out side.
I went on a binding expedition to spotty and had a bit of a battle finding one that was just right. As the centre is sooo busy i had to have it plain. But i think it worked out alright in the end (after two store peeps helping me out...goodness!!).

The back of the quilt i put together some more diamonds...i really like the back too.

Oh and i whipped up some pants for baby G. Two of them the Mr in the house called them "Happy pants". How rude lol. Also some trackies and PJ's.
I always have trouble with pants...but i did manage to finally sort out the problem...i was placing the inner leg seam down the centre front/back seam. I am sure i am not the first or last to mix these up when making kids pants....surely???? Annoying much!!!

Phew! Bet you're pleased to have that one finished - and it looks freaking awesome as well! :)

P.S. I was too slack to come to Stitch 'n Bitch this week, sorry ol' chap, but I will be coming next week for absolutely sure!
