Artscape Relaunch

This weekend i am spending a lot of time at Artscape setting up for  our re-launch and then attending the re-launch the next day. You are all welcome to attend on Sunday at 2pm for a bit of afternoon tea, a harpist, a great new exhibition,  and our official relaunch of the updated space.

Today i am helping put up the displays and then i must bake some goodies for tomorrows afternoon tea.

We are also searching for a new logo to go with our relaunch. These ones i spent some time doing as "Ideas" for a future logo. Others have entered ideas and there will be a bit of a vote off tomorrow at the launch.

My logos still need tweaking of text and pictures but i just wanted to get the idea across for now. I only had a night to whip them up and my graphic design job does not include logo creating. It most certainly is not my forte. In the end i have been a little pleased with the result. I would have preferred to pay someone to get a completely different perspective and totally finished result but i guess that's the perks of being in a community group (sarcasm font).  Any who i better get cracking on down there. I will bring you back some pics of the relaunch at a later date.
