Pears.

I have been experimenting with a pattern to make a pear shaped door stop. I think i have nearly got the shape and technique right, a few more alterations though yet.  I have been using vintage fabric panels combined with a white former bedspread chenille. The stalks i have created out of wool twists but i would love to crochet something a bit more substantial for  the them. They are weighted on the inside but for a door stop i think i will have to find something heavier than rice.

Going to stick these on my mantle piece though..they are a bit cute.
