Good Things Come in Pairs

So it seems I'm back in the woman cave creating new skirts.

I have worked out a way to reduce the fabric in the skirts - which lessen unwanted puff but also allows me to squeeze two skirts out of most of the fabric...Just!

I have been asked to be in a fashion paraded early next month and I need a lot of clothes to run down the runway. I was going to try to make as many as I could then fill out the rest with Nanna Goes to Town vintage stock. I had been on a roll with my sewing .. going great guns but every time I post a picture to Instagram or Facey it sells!! Which is lovely!!! Don't get me wrong ....but maybe I need to start adding a clause for pick up after the fashion parade!!

The top picture I had decided to keep one of the sister skirts for myself as I just looooved the fabric...but 1 hour after claiming ownership and posting it to facey I was yet again forced to sell...ha ha ....I kinda love it though.

The second lot of skirt pictures has sold one so far but I have enough fabric to make another...

Same with the third skirt....one left but the fourth skirts I have two left of - the photo mustn't do the skirt justice...it really is pretty - maybe I should claim one for myself before it goes too.

Next post I will give you a look at a new tunic style I am trialling - but given the sucess of skirts I may not have time to spend making a new pattern -  hee hee
