It seems I developing a thing for vintage wooden puzzles.
Just what I need a new "interest".

The Cuckoo clock at the top is far from a brilliant piece -  It's plastic - It's missing the middle chain -  and it's battery operated.
I had been eying it off for quite a while in a local second hand shop. They had a crazy price on it and so I left it there. However on my third attempt at getting a reasonable price I was offered to take it home for $15 - I agreed {obviously... as it's pictured here hanging on my wall}. Even though it's not a "proper" cuckoo clock I am far from a collector and therefore I am very happy with it ... plus I think it's lovely ... plus I'm a girl so I can do these things just 'cause I think it looks lovely.

This old vintage weaving set was being given away and so I snapped it up - in fact I scored three of them. I have a vision of the Stitch 'n' Bitch girls all sitting around weaving together - mmmm sounds lush....I'm thinking scarfs and wall hangings and home made woven fabrics.

So many posts to post - so little time - till next time

Love the sarcasm font.....very funny.

I can see the appeal in the clock, I'm sure you would've been sorry if someone else had snapped it up.
Can't beat vintage wooden puzzle either......well done..
A new year a new interest, hehe....
