Newspaper Muma...

...not only my favorite Peter Coombe song but it is also what i have become. I get taunted from my friends for being in the paper too much as i am constantly promoting the art centre and the Made with Love market bazaar. This time it was all about me...i didn't relaise it was going to be such a big article, and in Saturdays paper no less. Every week they ask some one ten questions and this is how i answered mine...

10Q with Wynyard Artist Michelle Walker

1.      Who inspires you? Not one person in particular but any one that is a doer. People that get out, have a go and contribute.
2.      What are you reading and how do you like to relax on the weekend? I don’t have a lot of time to read novels, but I do regularly read a lot of Indie magazines and blogs.  I enjoy getting creative, whether its in the garden, painting or in the sewing room. There are always new ideas brewing.
3.      What thing couldn’t you live without and what are your three favourite things? I couldn’t live without moisturiser.  My three favourite things would be my family/friends, my stitch’n’bitch group and my caravan.
4.      If you could invite anyone to dinner who would it be and what would you eat? Mona founder David Walsh. a man that creates without the constraints of money. As he is the right amount of crazy i am sure we could eat anything from sausages to caviar.
5.      What do you know now that you wish you had known before? How much power women can have that they don't realise.
6.      If you had a magic wand what would you wish for? My mortgage to be paid off.
7.      Do you have a favourite place? Beaches in general.  I find them to be very soothing.  I’m on holiday at the moment and I’m enjoying discovering new beaches.
8.      Most embarrassing moment? Loudly claiming to be a good hostess at a party then directly spilling coleslaw all over the floor.
9.      What has been a defining moment in your life? Giving birth to my daughter Georgie.
10. What do you daydream about? Being able to create all day with no interruptions, including and especially house work.

Well there you go.... how did i do?
