Reclaimed Cardi (M.C.S)

This week for my (our) creative space post i thought i would introduce to you my new projects. The first is this re-claimed cardi (not finished). A while ago i made a couple of child's ones and have been getting lots of interest from adults...also i really want one for myself. So far i think this has about 4 different jumpers incorporated into it. I haven't got a clue what to do on the edges yet...my choices (so far) are binding, another frill or crochet...ahhh choices!!! I'm going to do some more and obviously each will be very individual and perhaps this is where i tell you about my second project of the week....

I have begun to remember why we created our own designers market after dismal efforts at other peoples markets recently. I think it is time that i stick to the one i enjoy..which is our Made with Love of course. But one thing i hate is having all this stock and people only get to see it in my immediate area on one Saturday a month. I love creating beautiful things for others so the only solution was to let my creations morph into the larger world. Therefore i set up a wee little shop online using madeit. Check it out if you like. I am uploading things as i am photographing them. My internet connection make the process bloody painful but i will endure on.

Clicky-clicky for some new Madeit loven'

I hope the world likes what i create as much as i do. Thanks for your visit!!

Love the cardi, can't wait to see it finished :)
Pretty spunky. Love the green in it :) If I ever visit Tassie I will have to try and make it coincide with your markets :)

Your cardi is INSPIRED. Love a spot of reclamation and combining different species is all sorts of fabulous.
