Birthday Child

 

I finished my G-Mysters Birthday quilt the night before I had to give it to her.

After wishing to make it for a couple of years I have FINALLY finished a proper quilt for my little girl. I am pleased that I waited till I got better at the quilting process and my stash was considerably better in which to pick from.

She was pleased (thank goodness!!)...

There was blood, tantrums, tears and sweat in that damn quilt...

I think it looks good on the bed.

I quilted it on my machine in smallish lines - I tells ya it was a feat and a half but totally worth it, however I am not sure my machine and I are still talking.

 I loooove the effect and texture it gave to the whiter parts of the quilt.

I left her a little note on the back.
