Rock the Retro

On Australia day weekend I got busy.
Packages had arrived by post and I had collected materials...I was ready to go.
I painted - I assembled - I organised props and a beauty salon. Lastly I welcomed my first client into my new photography studio....cute like her Mum I reckon....

Rock the Retro is now officially open!!

I want to create a vintage feel - a vintage look and then photograph it - I want to finish it off graphically and give someone a once in a life time photo opportunity. My aim is not to re-create the usual "Pin Up" vintage style {although I am happy to do that for a client} but offer a unique vintage photography experience with a twist of my style on the side.
I have loads of cool new props and clothes which I will share with you soon - but in the mean time I have set up a facey page for avid watchers.

I am completing five clients tomorrow in collaboration with Miss Violet Devine in our last stint together. After that I will be working on my own, I want to experiment and play with the concept over the next year  by then I will have finished my teaching degree and my world may change again.
Till then I'd like to have some vintage fun

Those photos are beautiful Michelle (is that your little girl? She's absolutely gorgeous), if I lived in Tassie I'd love you to take some vintagey pics of me. You'd have your work cut out for you though - the camera hates me (sad but true)
Good luck with it all x
